Our mission
At Contexicon, we are re-thinking language learning. Instead of following the traditional classroom approach or flashcard style apps, we want to leverage the power of real-life contexts and targeted immersion. We believe that the best way to learn a new language is by seeing and hearing it used authentically in everyday situations.
What we are doing
That's why from day 1, we prioritize giving you exposure to authentic real-life scenarios so your brain is able to detect the patterns of the language you are learning and internalize them. We aim to foster that intuitive sense of how to use the new language to express your thoughts in real-life situations.
How it works
Contexicon is a chrome extension that opens in the sidepanel and shows you a personalized learning feed of netflix clips that'll be best for you to learn from. The algorithm tracks your progress and picks up on your mistakes to show you exactly what you need to learn to progress in your learning journey.
This is exactly how babies learn a language. They don't learn the conjugation of "bailar", and neither should you!
